Pipe Dream is the latest addition to the Macintosh game line. This very addicting game comes to us from Lucasfilm Games. Yes, the very same Lucas that has entertained us with fine quality movies such as Star Wars and Indiana Jones.
The program is beautifully done with everything we have come to know and love as Mac users. The program can be copied freely. It is protected by a secret code that you decipher with the decoder that is included in the game pack. Should you input the incorrect code 3 times you are allowed into the game for a short taste of the action after which a message appears telling you, in a very pleasant manner, to go out and buy the game from your favorite software dealer. 2 player game and you can select from expert or basic mode. There is a training mode that allows you to get the hang of the game before jumping into the real thing. The 36 levels get increasingly more difficult (so far I've seen only 11 of them).
Here's the scenario from the well written manual: "Imagine yourself as the plumber-in-chief at Acme Chemical company. Well, Acme has just invented this miracle sewer cleaner called flooz. Problem is, they're making flooz faster than they can pipe it into tank cars. Your job is to build an emergency pipeline with spare plumbing parts, and keep Acme from sinking under a sea of sickly green sludge."
